|
The Center for Applied Science was
introduced in the year 2005. This center's intends to
facilitate and coordinate interdisciplinary programs
and conduct research projects in the field sciences and
their interactions with practical day-to-day affairs
within the society. Our goal is to emerge as an active
center of interdisciplinary research and work in close
alignment with other organizations concentrating in related
fields.
The Center plans to grow and incorporate new areas of
research and technology within the broad field of the
applied sciences. This is a new organ within IITM and
currently its scope of operation is being formulated. Some
distinct areas where we want to build capacity are:
Applied Physics Laboratory
Bio-Informatics Laboratory
Environmental Chemistry Laboratory
Environmental Modeling Laboratory
The Center will conduct projects for
industry, as well as local, state, and government agencies.
These above facility will be introduced in phases and over
the next few years the facility will be in full operation
and add new knowledge and practical solutions for all.
